At the Fresh Anointing prayer gatherings, expect to find out how God's love changes lives. We pray together and encourage one another to find strength in the Holy Spirit who empowers us to live the Christian life in a world often hostile to the Gospel. Like a fire that grows warmer and brighter as more logs are added to it, we desire to be part of what Jesus meant when He said, "I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing!" (Luke 12:49).
The gift of the Holy Spirit and the embrace of the Communion of Saints are not ours to keep to ourselves. We want to share them. We desire to know God in our lives, and also make Him known in the lives of others. Because God has richly blessed us, we are like a fountain that overflows, ready to bring truth, healing, salvation, and joy to those who need it. Here is what to expect at our prayer meetings.

"When you assemble, one has a psalm, another an instruction, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Everything should be done for building up." - 1 Corinthians 14:26
Praise and Worship - United in the Holy Spirit, we worship in the Lord in jubilant praise. Joy is often expressed in praise. We thank God for His love, faithfulness, mercy, and grace in our lives. We may give praise in song, in words spoken aloud or in our hearts, in our posture of kneeling in reverence or with upraised hands in awe and surrender, or in tongues which enables prayer beyond the limitations of known language. We follow the lead of St. Teresa of Avila who wrote of “jubilation” as ,“a deep union of the faculties” when “all [the soul’s] activity is directed to this praise" (Interior Castle 6.6.10).- Silent Prayer and Prophecy - People are invited to share what they hear God saying in their hearts if it is intended to be beneficial for the group. Leaders are available to help with discernment of words. We encourage sharing private revelation with discernment in light of Scripture and Tradition, as taught by the Church. "Do not despise prophetic utterances. Test everything; retain what is good." - 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21.
- Teaching - A speaker may give a short talk on various topics, such as about knowing and following God.
- Intercessory Prayer - A time for individual prayer with the prayer ministry teams usually follows the talk. We encourage you to pray with the prayer teams to give your life to Christ, for Baptism in the Holy Spirit, for the release of the Holy Spirit's gifts, healing, and for any other intention
- Fellowship and Social Time - By sharing fellowship, we encourage one another. This is a wonderful opportunity to tell others how you've experienced God working in your life, and how He has blessed and changed you. This is also a great time to talk about upcoming events, share laughter, and enjoy the company of old and new friends.
