Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Baptism in the Holy Spirit is God's response to a personal decision to welcome Him fully into one's life. Because God respects our freedom, He invites and then waits for us to surrender our will to Him. Once we come to that place of maturity and openness, God does wonderful things that we did not previously even imagine. God desires to fill and animate us with the Holy Spirit, so that the Body of Christ on earth - the Church - can be the most effective hands, feet, and face of Jesus to a world that is in dire need of light, healing, deliverance, freedom guidance, and salvation.
Jesus said, "whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father" (John 14:12). He has given us all that we need to accomplish this through our relationship with Him, in particular through the Sacraments. Baptism in the Holy Spirt fully unleashes the power and grace in our souls that we have received in the Sacraments, and gives us desire for going ever deeper into union with God where we find He like is a fountain of living water. Thus, Baptism in the Holy Spirit brings you to a greater experience of God in daily life, and a greater impact in personal ministry and bringing God's presence into the world, which is God's call for the laity. For religious, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit draws one closer to the heart of God so they may flood the world God's love with the help of the Holy Spirit's gentle and firey zeal and contagious joy.
When the Holy Spirit fills you, He empowers you to fulfill God's plan for your life. God is a gentleman who waits for us to cooperate with Him; as St. John Chrysostom put it, "Grace can do nothing without the will and the will can do nothing without grace." To help guide you in receiving Baptism in the Holy Spirit, at the Fresh Anointing prayer teams are happy to pray with you.
