Occasionally the Fresh Anointing will attend special events as a group.  Check here for information on upcoming events.  Examples of group events we have attended and helped at include:

We provided significant leadership and and dozens of volunteers for ARISE DC, a young adult day of evangelization in February 2009.

We lead music for the Eucharistic Night of Praise and Worship at the National Mercy Conference hosted by the Marians of the Immaculate Conception in November 2009 .

In June 2009 we attended a praise and worship gathering with Hillsong United. 

In June 2010 we attended the Catholic Charismatic Conference at the Franciscan University of Steubenville.

In February 2011 we attended and volunteered at the Young Adult Day Retreat from the Arlington Diocese Catholic Charismatic Renewal.  The theme was, "Keys to Unleash Power in Prayer."

Young Adult Day Retreat - February 5, 2011

Fr. Dave Pivonka, Franciscan T.O.R. lead about 300 young adults on a spiritual journey. We learned to open up to the Holy Spirit, get to know Him in prayer, and experience Him in everyday life. We learned about how prayer and trusting God are essential to our relationship with Him, but in order to move deeper in the spiritual life and unleash power in prayer we must confront sin honestly and come to God - since only He can set us free. We need to approach God's mercy not just as a cleansing routine, but to experience Jesus who died for us and rose from the dead because He is waiting for us to let Him transform us from the inside out.  Local musicians lead us in beautiful and heartfelt songs of praise and worship, and we enjoyed fellowship with old and new friends.

Summers of 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011

Damian Stayne of Cor et Lumen Christi Community in England is a healer and evangelist endorsed by the Vatican's office that guides the Charismatic Renewal (ICCRS). Large numbers of people have been healed during Damian Staynes' evangelistic visits in the last two years. People have been healed of numerous afflictions, as well as grown in faith and confidence to hear the Lord and speak prophetically to others, pray with the sick, and also receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Damian has a gift of teaching clearly and showing from the Bible, Catechism, saints, and Church councils that the charismatic renewal is a true, historic, biblical, orthodox, and real gift from God which helps individuals and the Catholic Church as a whole to reach people in our day.
